ABOUT US

Lorraine A. Gregus

A native of the Hudson Valley.  She attended school at North Carolina State University where she earned two degrees, a BS in Applied Sociology and a BA in Industrial Design with a minor in Art & Design.  During her studies, Lorraine did a apprenticeship at Millscale, Inc in Raleigh, NC where she applied her considerable design skills to working in steel, wood and glass.  Lorraine moved on to work as a bronze finisher at Argos, Inc, a Hudson Valley art foundary.  After her work at the foundary, Lorraine became a project manager and CNC machinist at an architectural model making company.  She then struck out on her own and became a museum exhibitions contractor, designing and creating exhibitions for the New York Philharmonic, Johns Hopkins University, the Yogi Berra Museum, the New Jersey Historical Society and the Newark Museum to name but a few.   In 2009 she and Brian created STUDIO No.9 fine art and furniture services, at Peekskill's historic Hat Factory.
